Progressive Tennis Explained | IQ Tennis & Pickleball Centre

Progressive Tennis: A Smarter Way to Grow as a Player

Progressive Tennis adapts the game to the player, not the other way around. By scaling court size, ball type, racquets, and rules, players build confidence, accuracy, and strategy more quickly.

Every program at IQ juniors uses these principles, so your child always trains at the “right level.”

How It Aligns with IQ’s Junior Programs

Every academy (Red, Orange, Green, Yellow) follows Progressive Tennis standards.

That means:

  • Schedules and training content map to the stage.
  • Transition movements (from Red → Orange, etc.) are built in so kids don’t feel lost.
  • Each stage’s features Live streaming and video recording of practices and games for skill tracking and support readiness for the next stage.

Questions Parents Often Ask

Does my child stay in Red forever?

No. When their rally control, footwork, and decision-making are ready, coaches guide them to the next stage.

Yes. Players of any age who need fundamentals will benefit. Some training content adjusts for maturity.
